COME UNTO ME

There are days when I wish I could simply walk into heaven and know that God would be waiting there with open arms.  There are other days when I feel there is still so much I should do here on earth.  No matter where I am, I can rely on the fact that wherever I am, Jesus is right beside me, carrying me, lifting me away from the things that hurt me – cuddling me when I feel lost or heavy hearted – protecting me from the dangers of getting old – giving me courage when I have lost hope – inspiring me with His everlasting love – filling me with a fraction of that love so I can love others.

Jesus has promised to give us all these things and more.  Whether our days are numbered or we still have time on this planet to share our knowledge of Him with others is immaterial. He has a plan for each of our lives and we can count on the outcome being amazing when we trust that promise.

Consider today as the last day of your life.  What will you do with it?  We can go through the motion of living like we do every day, or we can become bold in professing our faith to others and giving them something concrete to hang onto.  We can lay our burdens on Jesus and have the freedom to profess the wondrous things He’s done for us.  Don’t wait until tomorrow.

About atimetoshare.me

As I reach the end of my years, I find I have a lot of good information stored up in this old decrepit mind of mine. If I don't write it all down, it may vanish and no one will have the advantage of my thoughts. This is why this blog exists. I love the Lord, Jesus with all my heart and soul. I know I'm undeserving of all He's done for me, but I also know that His love is beyond my comprehension. I've always wanted to write. I never kept diaries, but tucked my thoughts in my head for future reference. I use them now in creating stories, plays, poetry and my blog. I continue to learn every day. I believe the compilation of our time spent with God will have huge affect on the way we live. I know I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I have One through Jesus, Christ. My book, "Stages - a memoir," is about the seven stages of life from the perspective of a woman. It addresses all the things girls and women go through in life as they travel it with Jesus, and it is available on Amazon.com.

The harvest is plenty, but the labor force is few. Are work on earth will soon be done. Anxiously waiting for His return

Now is the time for a great revival within the church as a whole. We need to see the importance of getting the word out. It’s too good not to share.

  2. Amen! A pastor I know is always saying eternity begins right now. We need to live our lives as if we were already in heaven, so filled with Him and His love that when we die it is just like stepping from one room into another. I love that saying, “Christ didn’t just die to get us into heaven, He died to get heaven into us.”
