We have the right to choose the candidate we want to be the Commander in Chief of our nation, but it really must come to a choice of one who has proven himself or herself to be a person of integrity. We need to weigh every piece of information we can get our hands on before making that decision and make our choice based on their experience and ability so far.
How would they deal with issues that affect the entire population? Are they involved in even the slightest bit of scandal? Do they believe in the efficiency of our Constitution and are they willing to carry it out? Are they in the pockets of huge special interest groups? Do they really believe in their cause or are they simply muttering words that the masses want to hear. Many world leaders have won elections and destroyed their country’s vision with ridiculous promises that can’t be humanly kept.
Our system of government is not perfect. Even our local governments have serious flaws, but as long as we are the people paying the bills for every single thing passed by these employees, we have a say in the hiring process. The only way we can hire them is to be informed completely. You certainly wouldn’t employ anyone who had no sense of integrity, common sense, virtues, morality or solid ideas for making things better. You also look at their past history. We should be the same when we select a candidate for the presidency.
I still don’t know who I plan to vote for. I may not know until the choices are already made. I may not even know then. I’m still in the process of looking at their resumes.
So far the people who I have been willing to support have already dropped out of the running.

I’m with you. There’s something wrong with the whole process when you think about it. We are given a choice, but by the time we get it, none of the choices are good

I’m still planning to be a write in candidate. So far, I’ve got a handful of supporters! 😊 Seriously though I wish we had better candidates who know God and live like it.

I’d vote for you in a minute, Mary. It’s really sad that our choices have been whittled down to very little integrity to copse from.
